Abbottabad: A grand Youth and Workers Convention organized by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Hazara Division was held in Abbottabad, attracting a large number of party workers, youth, and supporters. PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi attended the event as chief guests.
Addressing the convention, PPP KP President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha congratulated the Hazara Division leadership, district organizations, and party workers on the successful organization of the event. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party is rapidly gaining public support across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and expressed confidence that the future belongs to PPP.
He stated that the province has suffered from mismanagement, unemployment, and numerous challenges over the past thirteen years, while promises made to the youth regarding development, employment, and education remain unfulfilled. He emphasized that PPP is committed to providing a better future for the people of the province through democratic and people-centric policies.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi said that the rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can only be secured through constitutional and democratic struggle, not through abusive language or confrontational politics. He noted that the province continues to face challenges including corruption and insecurity, while commitments made to the public have not been honored.
The Governor highlighted the province’s rightful share in its natural resources, including gas, electricity, minerals, and tourism. Referring to Article 158 of the Constitution, he said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has the first right over its natural gas resources and reaffirmed that Pakistan Peoples Party will continue to raise its voice for the province’s constitutional and financial rights at every forum.
Faisal Karim Kundi further stated that if party workers and youth remain united, the next government in the province will be formed by Pakistan Peoples Party. He also referred to development initiatives in Hazara, including the cricket stadium, Abbottabad Interchange, and the Mansehra–Muzaffarabad Motorway project. He urged workers to take the party’s message to every household and continue serving the people with dedication and commitment.
Several senior party leaders and district presidents also addressed the convention, reaffirming their resolve to further strengthen Pakistan Peoples Party across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
