Mansehra: A reception was hosted by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Hazara Division President Malik Farooq Tanoli in Union Council Lassan Thakral in honor of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi.
Speaking on the occasion, PPP KP President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha said that Pakistan Peoples Party has always worked for public welfare, the strengthening of democracy, provincial autonomy, and the empowerment of youth and women. He highlighted the party’s landmark achievements, including the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and the 18th Constitutional Amendment, which have contributed significantly to strengthening democratic institutions and improving the lives of ordinary citizens.
He further stated that under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the party remains committed to a vision of public service, sustainable development, and a prosperous Pakistan.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi said that the party’s success in Gilgit-Baltistan reflects the trust and confidence of the people in Pakistan Peoples Party. He emphasized the party’s contributions toward national security, a strong federation, provincial rights, and development initiatives across the country.
The Governor stated that the solution to public problems lies in constitutional, democratic, and issue-based politics rooted in dialogue and reason. He reiterated PPP’s commitment to serving the people and safeguarding their democratic and constitutional rights.
The reception also featured discussions on party affairs, public issues, and organizational matters. A large number of party leaders and workers attended the event and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan Peoples Party and advancing its mission across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
